How many of you have a drawer FULL of bras...but really only rely on 2 or 3 to do the "heavy lifting" day after day? There's no real mystery as to why women gravitate to one bra over the other...we will naturally pick the bra that has given us the most comfort reliably. The problem with this tactic is that the more we use and abuse "old reliable", the less comfortable these garments seem to be. So....how many days do you think you can wear a bra in a row?
The answer may surprise you and may turn your current rotation strategy on it's ear; BRAS SHOULD NOT BE WORN MORE THAN 2 DAYS IN A ROW or twice between washings. What?!? It's true, we assure you, and there is a very good reason for this. The elastic that helps your bra to fit properly and provides you with support needs to recover in order to continue performing at it's best (like an athlete); this "recovery" process can only occur after it's been washed and left to rest. The elastic is one of the most critical components to your undergarments - as the straps of your bra should only contribute about 20% to your total support - the band is the foundation on which the bra is built; and you've got to take care of the foundation.
The solution? We encourage all women to have a good selection of bras available to them that offer maximum comfort and style, allowing them the freedom to rotate their picks frequently. When you begin your day wrapped in comfort and support it improves your posture, poise, and confidence. We are women, see us coming & hear us roar!
